We have a strong record of reducing our carbon emissions and energy costs by improving the energy efficiency of our operations and the products we sell. Reducing carbon emissions supports our business by lowering electricity costs and mitigating energy-related pricing volatility. Our investments in renewable energy, operational efficiency, supply chain optimization and energy-saving products also demonstrate our commitment to innovation throughout our value chain.
STRENGTHEN OUR COMMUNITIES
We work to strengthen the communities where our associates and customers live and work, in part by supporting The Home Depot Foundation and its investments in veteran causes, natural disaster response and skilled trades training.
The Home Depot Foundation, a nonprofit supported by The Home Depot, works to improve the homes and lives of U.S. veterans, support communities impacted by natural disasters and train skilled tradespeople to fill the labor gap. To extend the Foundation’s mission, Team Depot, The Home Depot’s associate volunteer force, works alongside The Home Depot Foundation’s national and local nonprofit partners to serve our local communities all year.
