TOP TEAM DEPOT TRANSFORMATIONS OF 2016

In 2016, Team Depot made a huge impact for veterans in every state. Associates volunteered on thousands of projects in their communities. Take a look at some of our favorite transformations.

1. Phoenix – Kitchen Remodel

A U.S. Marine veteran that lived in his home for more than 30 years could no longer maintain it due to a string of health issues. Today, he’s enjoying a new kitchen thanks to Team Depot and Hands On Greater Phoenix.

2. Missouri City, Texas – Yard & Garage Surprise

Team Depot joined forces with Semper Fi Fund to surprise an injured veteran with a backyard and garage makeover that he can now enjoy with this family.

3. Palmer Lake, Minn. – VFW Post Makeover

Team Depot turned a storage room into a unique NASCAR room at the Palmer Lake VFW in Minnesota. This gives the veterans who use the VFW to a place to socialize and hold events.

4. Janesville, Wis. – Ramp Build

Team Depot built this impressive ramp for a World War II POW who was admitted to the hospital and not allowed to return home until he had safe access to his home.

  5. Tampa, Fla. – Cruse Home Takeover

Volunteers from Team Depot and Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay partnered to remodel the home of twin brothers who served in the military. Every room in the Cruse home got a facelift including the bathrooms and kitchen.

6. Colorado Springs, Colo. – Backyard Garden Upgrade

For his 90th birthday, a WWII veteran got a backyard makeover from Team Depot and Purple Heart Homes. The new raised garden beds will allow him to garden from a wheelchair.

7. Idaho – Transitional Housing Facility Facelift

The Sandman Transitional Housing Complex can host 11 veterans at any given time. Team Depot gave it a fresh coat of paint and other upgrades.

8. Oklahoma City – Veteran’s Home Restoration

U.S. Army veteran Edward Hodges was facing several code violations from the city because of the condition of his house. Team Depot and Rebuilding Together OKC partnered to restore the deteriorating home.
