Hundreds of Home Depot associates rolled up their sleeves in the parking lot of The Home Depot’s Store Support Center in Atlanta today to pack 3,000 clean-up kits for communities impacted by the recent hurricanes.
With support from Convoy of Hope, Herobox and National Retail Systems, Inc., volunteers packaged critical supplies in Home Depot Homer buckets including scrub brushes, microfiber towels, bleach and trash bags for distribution to impacted communities.
The final touch before loading trucks: A handwritten note of hope and encouragement on every lid. National Retail Systems and Convoy of Hope will deliver the clean-up kits to Texas and Florida, respectively. This volunteer project is a part of The Home Depot’s ongoing commitment to help communities rebuild after natural disasters.
