Home Depot Hurricane Workshop

Get Prepared for Hurricane Season with Our Virtual Workshop

May 29, 2015

Hurricane season is right around the corner–are you prepared? The Home Depot is teaming up with relief organizations like theAmerican Red CrossFederal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and Team Rubicon to conduct workshops in storm-prone regions to help homeowners prepare for the season.

The free workshops will take place on May 30, 2015 from 10 a.m. until noon at more than 700 Home Depot locations. Most stores will even have pre-made hurricane kits, making preparedness simple and easy. While you’re there, you can also pick up important emergency supplies, like First Aid Kits and generators.

Can’t attend a workshop, or want to learn more before arriving? Check out our virtual hurricane workshop below. Click on the tents to learn what to do before and after a hurricane if your community is not evacuated.
