Fortune applauds The Home Depot’s tech investments, e-commerce strategy, innovative merchandise in top ranking
The Fortune 500 ranking is a “barometer of success,” according to editors – a recognition of a company’s commitment to adapting to changing business environments and investing in the future. The magazine placed The Home Depot in the top five percent of its most recent ranking, the best in the home improvement industry by a long shot. We also ranked as the fifth largest employer on the list with more than 410,000 associates across North America.
Calling out a number of investments we are making to give our customers a seamless experience, whether in a store, online, or a combination of both, Fortune says that Home Depot is “is not sitting on its laurels” and that “whatever it’s doing is working.”
