When Disaster Strikes, Team Depot Comes Running to Provide Relief

March 10, 2016

We’re always ready to get our hands dirty, especially in the name of helping our neighbors get back on their feet. The days after a major natural disaster can be catastrophic. But, when big storms do their worst, Team Depot is at its best – jumping into action to support relief efforts in every way they can.

When tornadoes struck down near Dallas at the end of 2015, hundreds of Team Depot volunteers came running. With boots on the ground quickly, they delivered the necessities – water and supplies – and did everything in their power to help, even keeping stores open 24 hours for access to supplies. Team Depot then partnered with Team Rubicon, a nonprofit that repurposes the skills of military veterans to help empower communities in the wake of a disaster, to make the most of our muscle on the ground.
