When Gina’s husband was in a tragic accident, everyone’s first reaction was, “What are we going to do?” From Gina herself all the way through the aisles of The Home Depot store at which she worked, everyone was thinking, “What are we going to do? What can we do?”
You see how quickly a store comes together, like any family would, when tragedy strikes. Everyone in Gina’s store wanted to give – to help her and her kids with anything they needed. The team held fundraisers and secured a Matching Grant through The Homer Fund to help Gina manage household expenses and take care of her children.
