How far would you go to help one of your coworkers?
For Bernie Marcus, co-founder and former CEO of Home Depot, the answer is: farther than most would imagine. What started as a simple desire to help his personal accountant—whose 4-year-old son had autism—has developed into a 30-year campaign to improve the resources available to kids with autism.
Bernie is featured on this week’s episode of Crazy Good Turns, a podcast dedicated to telling stories about people who do amazing things for others. His passion for giving back to others has led to life-changing work through organizations like the Marcus Autism Center, The Shepherd Center for Brain and Spinal Injuries and the Marcus Trauma Center at Grady Hospital in Atlanta.
