Senior Vice President, Merchandising – Décor

David Passafiume is senior vice president of merchandising, décor for The Home Depot. In this role, he is responsible for the merchandising and marketing strategy for the paint, flooring, kitchen, bath, lighting and appliance departments.

Most recently, David served as senior vice president of hardlines, and prior to that, vice president of Home Depot Installation Services.

A career merchant and 20-year veteran of The Home Depot, he has held merchandising vice president roles for lighting, appliances, and tools in addition to serving as divisional merchandising manager for appliances.

David played an instrumental role in the build out of our appliance business, product development for LED integrated fixtures and continued to lead the adoption of our exclusive tool battery platforms, reimagining our in-store event space and strengthening our position in the market. Before The Home Depot, David spent 10 years with GE in sales, marketing and operations roles.

David has a degree in business administration and management from Bellarmine University.
