This past week, The Home Depot Foundation partnered with local nonprofits in more than 40 cities to complete service projects in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s life and legacy.  

ATLANTA, Jan. 27, 2022 – The Home Depot®, the world's largest home improvement retailer, today announced that Edward “Ted” Decker has been named CEO and president, and has been elected to the company’s board of directors, all effective March 1, 2022. Craig Menear, currently chairman and CEO, will continue to serve as Chair of the Board.

James "Shack" Harris and Doug Williams, two of the co-founders of the Black College Football Hall of Fame, wanted to address a major issue: football players from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) not being drafted by NFL teams. Thus, the inaugural HBCU Legacy Bowl was born.
