The Dixie Wildfire in Northern California has destroyed more than 600 homes and caused tens of thousands to evacuate. It is now the second largest wildfire in the state’s history – and still growing. 

ATLANTA, August 17, 2021 -- The Home Depot, the world's largest home improvement retailer, today reported sales of $41.1 billion for the second quarter of fiscal 2021, an increase of $3.1 billion, or 8.1 percent from the second quarter of fiscal 2020. Comparable sales for the second quarter of fiscal 2021 increased 4.5 percent, and comparable sales in the U.S. increased 3.4 percent.

The Home Depot Foundation announced a commitment of up to $1 million to support immediate disaster relief and long-term recovery efforts in the communities impacted by Hurricane Ida. This new disaster response grant takes the Foundation’s 2021 disaster contributions to more than $6 million.
