While people are familiar with what’s inside The Home Depot, they’re less familiar with what’s on top of it: approximately 104,000 square feet of rooftop space. In 2017, the home improvement retailer launched a pilot solar farm program using rooftops at four stores—and the sun—to become a big box of sunshine. 

For many Team Depot volunteers, it’s more than doing a good deed—it’s a chance to give back and make a difference in the community. When veteran couple, Mary and Dwight Blanchard, were unable to fix the fence that fell behind their Arizona home, Team Depot stepped in to help.

Comparable sales for the second quarter of fiscal 2019 were positive 3.0 percent, and comparable sales in the U.S. were positive 3.1 percent.
