After three deployments and five years of service in the Navy, Jacob Snowden was finally home with his family. But, when it came time to spend quality time with his family outside, the Snowden’s were in need of some help.

Last spring, the rain that descended upon Pensacola, Fla. was severe and relentless. American Legion Post 78 was hit hard with over a foot of flooding, causing both electrical and structural damage that rendered their building unusable.

When a tornado devastated the Columbia, Miss. area right before Christmas, associates at store 2905 in Hattiesburg, Miss. were ready to help ensure the community had the supplies, resources and support they needed to clean up and rebuild.

After dedicating his life to protecting his country and his strong belief in personal freedom, George Alakpa came home from Afghanistan to find his home completely flooded.George worked hard to do what he could to repair his home himself, and with the help of Team Depot during this year’s Celebration of Service campaign, his home is now better than ever.
