Senior Vice President, Merchandising – Hardlines

David Passafiume is senior vice president of merchandising, hardlines for The Home Depot. In this role, he is responsible for merchandising and marketing strategy across hardware and garden. 

Most recently, David served as vice president of Home Depot Installation Services. A career merchant and 18-year veteran of The Home Depot, he has held merchandising vice president roles for tools, lighting, and appliances, in addition to serving as divisional merchandising manager for appliances. 

David and his team drove the adoption of our exclusive tool battery platforms, reimagining our in-store event space and strengthening traffic and conversion to fuel market share gains. Before The Home Depot, David spent 10 years with GE in sales, marketing and operations roles. 

David has a degree in business administration and management from Bellarmine University.
