Eight years ago, when Desi Craig wrote her name in marker on an orange apron, she didn’t realize the impact working at The Home Depot would have on the company and herself.
A driven associate, Desi has endured a long medical journey, but has been empowered by her Home Depot family as a front end supervisor at store #1944 in Ingleside, Ill.
“At Home Depot, I wasn’t seen for what I couldn’t do, but what I could do,” she says. “I learned to trust in my own potential and the potential of the team to which I now belonged.”
Today, the team at the Store Support Center, located in our hometown of Atlanta, Ga., honored Desi for her positive impact in the store and across The Home Depot community. See her warm welcome at the Store Support Center:
