Senior Vice President, Merchandising – Hardlines

Rodes Bazzel is senior vice president of merchandising, hardlines for The Home Depot. In this role, she is responsible for merchandising and marketing strategy across hardware and garden.

Most recently, Rodes served as merchandising vice president for power inclusive of power tools and outdoor power equipment, where she and her team developed a singular battery platform strategy across tools and outdoor power categories. She led the successful power corral pilots, launched exclusive, industry-disrupting battery technology, and further increased The Home Depot’s cordless penetration in the market.

Since joining the company in 2009, Rodes has held a variety of positions across the company, including roles in merchandising, private brands and finance.

Rodes earned a bachelor’s degree from Washington and Lee University and a master’s degree in business administration from Emory University.
