Scardino
Kimberly R. Scardino is senior vice president of finance, chief accounting officer and controller at The Home Depot. In this role, she oversees accounting and controller responsibilities in addition to leading technology finance and strategy, including the company’s SAP S/4 implementation, and the company’s ESG efforts.
She joined The Home Depot in January 2019 as the senior vice president of finance, supporting merchandising, stores, supply chain, home services and outside pro sales. Almost two years later, she became the senior vice president of business transformation to help align technology initiatives, company priorities, and financial management needs.
Before joining The Home Depot, Kimberly was senior vice president, global controller and chief accounting officer of Walgreens Boots Alliance since 2015, where she was responsible for acquisition integration and business transformation initiatives. Before that role, she served as senior vice president, business advisory controller at The American Express Company. Since 2006, she served in roles of increasing responsibility at the company, including senior vice president, Americas controller. She also served in accounting, business development and structured finance functions at Credit Suisse and Lyondell Chemical Company.
Kimberly began her career in audit at Arthur Andersen in 1994 and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Houston.
