Arora
Deepak Arora is senior vice president of technology at The Home Depot. In this role, he oversees the technology teams that support the core retail value chain - merchandising, inventory and replenishment, supply chain, stores, services, pro capabilities, HR and finance.
Prior to joining The Home Depot, Deepak most recently served as senior vice president of commerce, marketing technology and experiences for Nike, leading a global engineering, product and UX team. He also had oversight over the integrated technology team in greater China that spanned marketplace, supply chain, planning and technology operations. During his time at Nike, Deepak was instrumental in elevating consumer experience, blending AI into product roadmaps for commerce and driving conversational experiences for discovery and service. He served as Nike's Interim co-CTO, responsible for technology strategy and execution across the Nike, Jordan and Converse brands.
Deepak brings more than 25 years of technical expertise having held roles of increasing responsibility at American Express as vice president of Amex.com and vice president of platform engineering, where he modernized global platforms and supported digital payments.
Deepak earned an engineering degree from Indian Institute of Technology and his MBA from Michigan State.
