Between home game touchdowns and tackles, Falcons fans pay tribute to military members of the Atlanta community who have served us all. Each home game, The Home Depot’s Hometown Hero receives a roar of applause while waving to the crowd from the field as his or her military story is read to a packed stadium.
But, there is so much more behind this brief moment of field recognition that makes up the Hometown Hero’s personal story and Falcons game experience. We met up with a recent Hometown Hero recipient during the Falcons Salute to Service home game to hear about his military background and see his full Falcons VIP experience.
