Jim Hovis is the senior vice president of enterprise pro experience. He is responsible for driving end-to-end proficiency for pro across product, price, delivery and the store / online experience. Previously, he was senior vice president of global brand and product development, responsible for global sourcing, proprietary brands, trend & design, product quality, engineering and environmental innovation.

Jim joined the company in 1998 as senior analyst. He has held roles of increasing responsibility including associate merchant, regional install manager, inventory merchant for distribution centers, merchant, global product merchant, divisional merchandise manager, merchandising vice president for tools and merchandising vice president for garden.

Prior to joining the company, Jim was a buyer with RSR Group, where he also spent time in operations and sales.

Jim has a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Florida and a master’s in business administration from the University of Central Florida.
