The Home Depot and NASCAR
The Home Depot is proud to be primary sponsor of the #20 Home Depot Racing team. The Home Depot first entered into NASCAR in 1999 through a multi-year deal with Joe Gibbs Racing and driver Tony Stewart.  Stewart was honored as “Rookie of the Year” in 1999 and won the NASCAR Cup Series Championships in 2002 and 2005.  Through the 2008 season, Stewart had captured 32 NASCAR Cup Series point victories.  The 2008 season also marked The Home Depot’s 10th year in the sport with Joe Gibbs Racing.  In 2009, Joey Logano became only the second driver to ever pilot the #20 Home Depot Racing machine in NASCAR’s premier Cup Series, and was also honored as “Rookie of the Year”.  2011 is Joey Logano’s third consecutive season with The Home Depot Team.  The Home Depot is also the presenting sponsor for the sixth consecutive year of “NASCAR RaceDay Built By The Home Depot,” SPEED’s weekly, live pre-race show.
