The Home Depot and NASCAR

The Home Depot is proud to be the primary sponsor of the #20 Home Depot Racing team. In 2009, Joey Logano will become only the second driver to ever pilot the #20 Home Depot Racing machine in NASCAR’s premier Cup Series. Logano, led by tenured and successful Crew Chief Greg Zipadelli, will run for rookie of the year honors in the #20 Home Depot Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing

In 2009, The Home Depot is also the presenting sponsor for the third consecutive year of “NASCAR RaceDay, Built By The Home Depot,” SPEED’s weekly, live pre-race show.

The Home Depot first entered into NASCAR in 1999 through a multi-year deal with Joe Gibbs Racing and driver Tony Stewart. Stewart was honored as “Rookie of the Year” in 1999 and won the NASCAR Cup Series Championships in 2002 and 2005. The 2008 season marked The Home Depot’s 10th year in the sport with Joe Gibbs Racing.
